    End-to-end product for a gold refinery. Raspberry Pi hardware on the line captures a unique fingerprint for every bar; a live web application establishes ownership, manages rapid production runs and keeps a digital security record of each bar through to delivery.

About

A bit about me

I’m a full-stack engineer with five years of experience shipping web applications and SaaS products: API and database design on one end, the interface people actually use on the other, and ownership of everything in between.

Most recently I’ve led an end-to-end product for a gold refinery — Raspberry Pi hardware on the production line, a unique fingerprint for every bar, and a live web application that tracks each one from production to delivery.

Away from work I’m drawn to game development and 3D modelling. Different tools, same instinct: build the thing and find out how it works. I’m curious by default and happiest when learning something new.

Where I’ve worked

    Full Stack Developer · Associate Manager

    • Spearheading a gold-bar authenticity product for a refinery: Raspberry Pi hardware integration, a unique fingerprint per bar, and a live monitoring web application covering ownership, production and delivery.
    • Building performant, scalable systems with Node.js, Vue, TypeScript, GraphQL and PostgreSQL.
    • Keeping the team moving through code reviews, pair programming and close collaboration with other engineers.
